Happy Friday...

Hello everyone!
I am so glad it's Friday because I'm off and I get to spend the whole day with my man!!! I also have to bake today. I'm making a Dr.Seuss cat and the hat cake for a birthday party this weekend, which is making me extra nervous because I really want it to come out nice. So wish me luck. And as for the weekend, nothing really exciting going on. Although I hope my husband and I can go on a little date night. Maybe we'll hit the movies. I really want to see The Great Gatsby. Have any of you seen? I've heard it's an amazing movie. Well anyway I hope all of you have an amazing weekend, XO!

With summer just around the corner why not stock up on some goodies.and by goodies I mean shoes. Seriously a girl can never have too many shoes! I am absolulty in love with all of the ones above. They are very colorful and trendy, you can also wear them with anything and anywhere. Whether it's on a lunch date with your girlfriends or a night out. I'm also loving the strapy sandal trend going on right now and numbers 1 and 3 are perfect pieces. I have to save my pennies to get some of these beauties!

Best Strawberries & Cream

With Mother's Day just a couple of days a way, why not surprise you're lovely momma with a delicious treat. My mom loves strawberries so this sweet treat is perfect for her. And it's the easiest thing in the world to make.

For whipped cream you will need:

• 2 cups of heavy cream
• 1/4 cups of powder sugar

For Strawberries you will need:

• 2 cups of sliced strawberries
• juice of a lemon or lime
• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
• chocolate shaving (optional)

Now all you need to do is, combine your strawberries, sugar and lemon or lime juice and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Now pour your heavy cream in an electrical standup mixture if you don't have one a hand mixture will do just fine. After a minuted of two add the powder sugar and keep mixing until it has the perfect creamy consistency. After everything is done just place your whipped cream in a serving bowl and top it off with your strawberries and chocolate shaving. See how easy and simple it is! Today's casual ootd

Happy Tuesday all! 
 I hope all of you had a wonderful day. Today was a very casual/chill day for me. First my husband and I hit up the movies to watch Iron Man 3 (it was amazinggggg, you must go watch). After that I had a sweet tooth so we stopped and grabbed some frozen yogurt, I can't get enough of that stuff! And that was pretty much it. Now were home doing pretty much nothing, I love days like these.

Margaritas and Beer...

............ a great combination to celebrate Cinco De Mayo! Over the weekend my cousin and her boyfriend came down from Boston for a quick visit and to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. They always have great parties downtown so that's where we headed. We stopped at Racco's Tacos first, where we had delicious margaritas, free beers, and amazing tacos. They seriously have some of the best Mexican food around. Their guacamole and chips are to die for. After that we went to World of Beer, and by the name I'm sure you can guess what we had. I'm not such a huge fan of beer but they have one which is now my favorite, its a raspberry beer that taste more like a raspberry wine than a beer. Since they have such a great atmosphere we spent the rest of the day there playing jumbo Jenga and drinking more beer!I hope all of you had a great weekend as well, XO!

Starting May off right...

 <------- with this guy around. It's been a little over 2 weeks now since my husband has been back from completing contract with the AirForce. It's been a long 6 years with a lot of headaches but good times as well. Since his been back it has been amazing. At first I thought it would be hard getting use to having someone around allll the time,  having to sharing your basically everything and just getting into the swing of things, especially because we've been having this long distance marriage for quiet sometime now. but it has seriously been the complete opposite. yeah we bickered a little about sharing some closet space and other little things, but I mean who doesn't? right? The good thing is that it feels like we were never apart, which I love! I love his company, I love not having an empty bed anymore and most importantly I love how happy he makes me. I can't wait to see whats in store for us as we continue this journey together!

Finially Finished!

I'm finally done with all my finals! and let me tell you...I am so glad its ovaaaaa. Ugh seriously if I had to take one more I would've died (seriously). I still can't believe I'll be graduating at the end of this summer, definitely looking forward to it. But anyway now that I'm finally done with school for a couple of weeks I will be stepping my blogging game UP. I've been slacking so much lately but it's not because I don't feel like blogging I just haven't had the time and have been extra tried and busy.But I will definitely get back to it asap.
